Junior point guard Naadir Tharpe had 19 points (6 of 7 FG, 6 of 6 FT), 5 assists and 2 steals, while freshman center Joel Embiid had a strong all-around game with 12 points (3 of 5 FG, 6 of 8 FT), 13 boards, 3 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks.
For the Sooners senior forward Cameron Clark was the leading scorer with 18 points (6 of 15 FG, 5 of 5 FT) plus 4 rebounds.
