Villanova knocks off DePaul 87-62

Villanova tops DePaul 87-62 with an impressive 48 points-effort in the first half.
The Wildcats  made 15 of 26 from deep range and 18 of 20 from thr foul line.
Junior forward JayVaughn Pinkston ended with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while versatile senior James Bell added 16 points, 8 boards, 4 assists and 2 blocks.

For the Blue Demons - without senior forward Cleveland Melvin, arguably their best player of the last four seasons, who is no longer enrolled at the university- senior guard Brandon Young had a season high 27 points (9 of 17 FG, 7 of 11 FT) plus 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
