Kansas State won against Kansas 85-82 after an overtime, with freshman guard Marcus Foster who scored two free throws for the 83-79 lead with 21 seconds left. 
Foster ended the game with 20 points and 2 assists, while senior guard Will Spradling added 15 points, 6 boards, 5 assists and 3 steals.
For the Jayhawks freshman swingman Andrew Wiggins had 16 points and 5 boards, but just 4 of 12 from the field and 8 of 15 from the foul line. Sophomore power forward Perry Ellis added 19 points and 11 rebounds, while junior pointguard Naadir Tharpe had 13 points and 10 assists.
