Louisville won against Houston 77-62 with a great first half, closed with a 19-point lead (45-26).
Senior guard Russ Smith scored 17 points (5 of 12 FG, 4 of 7 FT) plus 2 rebounds and 6 assists, while junior pointguard Chris Jones added 14 points, 3 assists and 5 steals.
For the Cougars (just 3 wins in 10-AAC games) junior big man TaShawn Thomas had his usual strong performance with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
