Penn State had a huge road win - just the second in 8 Big Ten games- at Ohio State, 71-70 after an overtime. Swingman D.J. Newbill hit a 3 that forced overtime and then the game winner. Senior pointguard Tim Frazier had 8 points, 10 boards and 7 assist.
For the Buckeyes junior forward LaQuinton Ross had 16 points and 7 rebounds, while junior center Amir Williams had 12 points and 6 boards.
