UCLA beat California with the usual all-around performance of Kyle Anderson, who ended with 17 points, 12 rebounds (Fourth in all Division one for defensive rebounds!!) and 5 assist. Senior big man David Wear had a career-high 18 points plus 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.
For the Golden Eagles freshman guard Jordan Mathews had 18 points, 6 boards and 2 steals
