Ohio State win the Big Ten opener at Purdue and remain one of the nation's unbeaten teams. For the Buckeyes the top scorer is junior forward LaQuinton Ross with 25 points (8 of 17 FG, 9 of 11 FT) plus 12 rebounds and 2 blocks, while junior pointguard Shannon Scott added 18 points ( 6 of 11 FG, 4 of 5 FT), 5 rebounds and 3 assists. 
Senior playmaker Aaron Craft closed with 7 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals...
The Boilermakers lost despite the good performance of talented sophomore center A,J, Hammonds, that went for 18 points (6 of 16 FG, 6 of 8 FT), 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks.
