Coach Josh Pastner donates $250,000 to his Athletic Department

The Tigers started the season with a 6-1 record. But coach Josh Pastner made something bigger than winning games.
He decided to donate $250.000 to his athletic department.

Per WREG, “I am very proud to announce that our men’s basketball coach Josh Pastner has made a $250,000 donation to our capital campaign”, said Memphis Athletics Director Tom Bowen. “Josh’s gift is the largest ever made by a Memphis coach and will be used for sport enhancements and improvements.

“We are making great strides in building a culture of champions at the University of Memphis”, Bowen stated. “As part of our strategic plan, we are working to enhance programs and facilities for all our student-athletes and sports.”
