Impressive performance for the Wildcats' defense in the home game against Boise State; the Broncos , one of the best offense in division one,  ended up shooting just 32% from the field (13 of 40 combined for Derrick Marks and Anthony Drmic).
Freshman shooting guard James Young closed with 21 points (3 of 4 from two, 4 of 11 from lomg-range) and 9 rebounds, while freshman power forward Julius Randle added 17 points (7 of 11 from the field) and 11 rebounds.
Big man Willie Cauley-Stein, the only sophomore in the starting five, had 6 points with 7 rebounds and 9 blocks.
