Ohio State with a great first half wins the challenge against Maryland and remains unbeaten after seven games played. Second good performance in a row for junior forward LaQuinton Ross, who ended with 20 points (3 of 7 from two, 4 of 6 from long range), 6 rebounds and 2 steals, while the senior point guard Aaron Craft added 10 points, 6 assists and 5 steals.
For the Terrapins (39% from the field, 2 of 18 from three compared with 52% and 8 of 18 from three of the hosts) the top scorer is former Xavier wings Dezmine Wells with 19 points (8 of 17 from the field).
