-Sophomore pointguard Marcus Smart and senior shooting guard Markel Brown combined for 55 points in the Oklahoma State' win over Purdue 97-87. Smart had 30 points (9 of 18 from the floor, 8 of 12 from the foul line) with 4 assists and four steals, while Brown added 25 points (8 of 13 from the floor, a perfect 8 of 8 from the free throws line) and 6 rebounds.
For the Boilermakers sophomore center A.J. Hammons had 7 pints and 7 rebounds in 18 minutes

- freshman star Andrew Wiggins leads Kansas with 17 points (6 of 13 from the field) , 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals, in the win over Wake Forest 87-78. Freshman center Joel Embiid had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks

- sophomore pointguard Semaj Christon had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the Xavier' loss against Iowa 77-74. For the winners junior combo forward Aaron White scored 10 points with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks

- sophomore power forward Shaq Goodwin leads Memphis in the easy win over Siena with 17 points (8 of 10 from the field), 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks. Speedy senior pointguard Joe Jackson added 18 points and 3 steals with 7 0f 10 from the field

- freshman comboguard Zach LaVine scored 21 points with 4 of 6 fron long range in the blowout win of UCLA over Nevada. Sophomore all-around Kyle Anderson added 17 points with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. 

- sophomore all-around Winston Sheperd scored 15 points with 6 of 12 from the floor in the San Diego State' victory over Charleston; freshman power forward Jordan Mickey closed with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman forward Jarell Martin added 15 points and 2 steals with 4 of 5 from the field in the LSU big win over Saint Joseph; junior power forward Jarnell Stokes closed with 13 points and 14 rebounds in the Tennessee' loss against UTEP; former Tulsa guard Jordan Clarkson scored 21 points with 9 of 14 from the floor in the Missouri' win over Northwestern; senior forward Doug McDermott leads Creightin with 27 points (8 of 18 fron the field, 10 of 10 from the foul line) and 6 rebounds in the big win 88-60 over Arizona State
