Duke tops Alabama 74-64

After the lackluster victory at home against Vermont, Duke returns to play at a high level by beating Alabama 74-64 at Madison Square Garden.
The Blue Devils' top scorer is freshman sensation Jabari Parker with 27 points (9 of 12 from the field, 9 of 12 from the foul line, 8 rebounds), while junior pointguard Quinn Cook added 17 points with 3 of 4 from long range.
Coach K gets little or nothing from sophomore shooting guards Rasheed Sulaimon, that does not exceed double-digit points from 5 games, and other veterans of the bench. The only reserve to show off is the freshman sharpshooter Matt Jones with 13 points in 16 minutes.
On Friday, the Blue Devils will face Arizona in the NIT Season Tip-off championship game. The Wildcats have one of the best frontcourt of America - Aaron Gordon, Brandon Ashley, Kaleb Tarczewski, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson - and will be an important test for Parker and company
