Marco Calvani hired by Loyola University of Chicago as consultant

Marco Calvani has been hired by Loyola University of Chicago as consultant for the men and women basketball team, as reported by Il Corriere dello Sport.

Marco Calvani coached Virtus Roma last season reaching the Serie A final despite one of the lowest budgets in the entire league.

When the season ended, Calvani and Virtus Roma parted ways and the coach accepted the new challenge.

"I will follow all the practices of the team and the home and away games. I will work for them for two months. They asked me to stay for the entire season but I told them that I want to feel free to return to Italy in case of some offers during the season" said Marco Calvani to Il Corriere dello Sport.
