Andre Dawkins returns to Duke for the 2013-14 season

Andre Dawkins announced on Twitter his return to Duke Blue Devils for the season 2013-14.

The guard was redshirted this season, a decision that came last June when Dawkins' father old the Raleigh News & Observerthat his son has the option to sit out next season to work through lingering grief from the death of his older sister. Lacey Dawkins died at age 21 in a car accident in December 2009 while driving from Columbus, Ohio, to Durham to see Duke play St. John's.
