The three team deal for Melo is not close to being completed

A reported three-team deal that would send Carmelo Anthony to New York is "not close" to being completed, multiple league sources connected to the talks told SI.com On Saturday, ESPN.com reported the Knicks, Nuggets and Timberwolves were discussing a three-team deal that would send Anthony to New York; Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry to Minnesota; and Wilson Chandler, Corey Brewer and a first-round draft pick to Denver. Sources said that, while Minnesota is interested in acquiring Randolph, it has little interest in sending Brewer to the Nuggets.
