Stan Van Gundy to join ESPN

Former Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy is expected to work for the American sports channel ESPN, according to the New York Post. Van Gundy himself confirmed the news to JD Shaw of Def Pen Hoops and Hoops Rumors.

Stan Van Gundy's brother, Jeff, has already been working for ESPN as an analyst alongside Mark Jackson and NBA play-by-play commentator Mike Breen.

Stan Van Gundy will do some work for ESPN this season, the former Pistons head coach tells me. The news was first reported by the New York Post.
