Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor is open to trading Jimmy Butler
Taylor told rival executives that Butler is available even though the team's front office has no plans to trade him
During the NBA's Board of Governors meetings, Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor told rival executives that Jimmy Butler is available in trade talks even though the team's front office has no plans to send him anywhere, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
"He basically said, 'If you don't get anywhere with [Timberwolves GM Scott Layden], and you've got something good, bring it to me," a league official told Wojnarowski.

Story filed to ESPN: As Minnesota’s front office tells inquiring rivals that team has no plans to trade Jimmy Butler, owner Glen Taylor had a different message at NBA’s Board of Governors meetings: Butler is available and owners/GM’s should contact Taylor himself if necessary.
