San Antonio mayor declares August 30 'Manu Ginobili Day'
The city will honor the future Hall of Famer
San Antonio mayor Ron Nirenberg has declared Thursday, Aug. 30, to be “Manu Ginobili Day.” The city will honor the future Hall of Famer, who announced his retirement after spending 16 seasons with the Spurs.
“On Thursday, let’s honor a player who exemplified grits, sportsmanship, and the pure joy of the game,” Nirenberg wrote on Twitter.
