Manu Ginobili officially retires from basketball
He's 41
Veteran guard Manu Ginobili has officially announced his retirement from basketball today at 41. Ginobili posted his decision on his Twitter profile, putting an end to the speculations about his future. A member of the San Antonio Spurs since 2002, Ginobili has won four NBA titles with San Antonio and was named Sixth Men of The Year back in 2008. With Argentina, he won the gold medal at Athens Olympics Games in 2004 and the bronze medal at Beijing Olympics Games in 2008.
During his experience in Italy with Virtus Bologna, Ginobili won two Italian leagues and one Euroleague title.
