Nuggets' Nikola Jokic won't play for Serbia in FIBA WC qualifiers in September

Serbia named Nikola Jokic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nemanja Bjelica, Milos Teodosic and Boban Marjanovic in the preliminary squad for FIBA WC qualifiers in September but only two out of five are fully expected to play for their national team against Greece and Estonia.

“We cannot count on Nikola Jokic to join us for the qualifiers. However, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica will be available for both games” Jovica Antonic, assistant coach of Serbia’s National Team told Novosti. “We also hope that Milos Teodosic and Boban Marjanovic will play for us”.
