As reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, the Houston Rockets are emerging as the clear frontrunners to sign Carmelo Anthony, once he leaves Oklahoma City. Anthony is expected to leave OKC but it's still unclear if he'll part ways with the team via trade or via a buyout.
The Houston Rockets have emerged as strong frontrunners to acquire Carmelo Anthony once he is free from Oklahoma City, league sources tell Yahoo. Anthony also has considered Miami.
