As reported by Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the Dallas Mavericks expect that restricted free agent Yogi Ferrell will take his qualifying offer, worth $2.9 mln, for the next season. With this move, Ferrell will be under contract for this season but will become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
