Spurs promote Becky Hammon to the front of the bench

Hammon will replace James Borrego who became the head coach of the Charlotte Hornets

The San Antonio Spurs have promoted Becky Hammon to the front of the bench. Hammon will replace James Borrego who became the head coach of the Charlotte Hornets.

Borrego was hired as head coach of the Charlotte Hornets this offseason.

Hammon joined the Spurs as an assistant coach in 2014.
