Isaac Bonga says he will play for Lakers' Summer League team
Bonga was selected by the Lakers with the 39th overall pick: It’s a good opportunity to get a feel for the style in the NBA, especially for us Europeans.
Selected with the 39th overall pick by the Lakers, Isaac Bonga said that he will play for L.A. in the upcoming Summer League.
“I just could not believe that they really said my name (at the NBA draft” Bonga said. “I was overjoyed. Playing against the best basketball players in the world is something really special. I will enjoy all of the moments. I just want to develop and be focused on my improvements,. I will also prepare myself for the NBA Summer League. It’s a good opportunity to get a feel for the style in the NBA, especially for us Europeans. I will try to attract attention during the Summer League”.
