Royal Ivey to join Knicks coaching staff

The New York Knicks and Royal Ivey are finalizing a deal to add him to David Fizdale's coaching staff, per ESPN's Ian Begley.

Ivey had received interest from other teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, per Begley, before closing in on the opportunity with the Knicks.
