Former Kings guard Jimmer Fredette will compete in The Basketball Tournament, a $2 million winner-take-all affair that will air on ESPN, with the goal of resuming his NBA career. Fredette has spent the last two seasons in China and hopes that this Tournament would be the right spotlight for his career:
"I would always love to get another chance in the NBA," said Fredette to ESPN. "I've gotten better in China and improved every year. ... You hope somebody takes notice."
