Antony Davis eligible to sign richest contact in NBA history in 2019: $230M in 5 years

Anthony Davis is now eligible to sign the super max contract in the summer of 2019. And it would be the richest deal in the NBA history, a five-year $230 million contract extension with the Pelicans.

As Bobby Marks wrote on Twitter,  Anthony Davis has now met the super max criteria (All-NBA in 2 out of 3 seasons) and is eligible to sign the largest contract in NBA history next summer (2019). The extension projects to be worth $230 million with a cap hit in 2020-21 starting at $39.7 million.
