The Suns interviewed Mike Budenholzer for two days for the head coaching job.
Per AZ Central, Budenholzer, the NBA Coach of the Year in 2014-15, has two years and $13 million left on his contract. Phoenix likely would owe Atlanta compensation – perhaps a future first-round draft choice – if it hired Budenholzer.
A league source said the Suns have interest in San Antonio Spurs assistant head coach James Borrego.
