Celtics' Daniel Theis underwent season ending surgery

The Boston Celtics announced today that forward Daniel Theis underwent successful surgery to repair his left knee lateral meniscus. The surgery was performed by Celtics Team Physician Dr. Anthony Schena and was assisted by Dr. Paul Weitzel at New England Baptist Hospital. Theis is expected to miss the remainder of the 2017-18 NBA season but should be fully recovered prior to the start of training camp.
