Orlando Magic waive Rashad Vaughn, to sign Rodney Purvis to 10-day deal

The Orlando Magic have officially released guard Rashad Vaughn, who had a 10-day contract with the team. Vaughn is dealing with right knee soreness, which wasn’t likely to heal before the end of his 10-day pact.

The Magic will fill the roster spot vacated by Vaughn by signing Lakeland Magic guard Rodney Purvis to a 10-day contract, per Josh Robbins and Ian Begley.
