Gregg Popovich says Kawhi Leonard is "working hard" at a comeback

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said that Kawhi Leonard is working hard at a comeback.

Per San Antonio Express News,“He’s doing what he’s supposed to do,” Popovich said. “He’s working hard at it. He wants to get back, and when and if he feels like he’s ready to go, he will be there.”

Leonard has missed 53 of the Spurs’ 62 games, including Wednesday against the Pelicans, while battling the effects of right quadriceps tendinopathy.
He has not played since a Jan. 13 victory over Denver.
