Hornets Polk says he would like nothing more than for Kemba Walker to end his career in Charlotte
Walker will be free agent in July 2019
Hornets vice chairman Polk hopes to keep Kemba Walker beyond his contract that will expire in June 2019.
Per Charlotte Observer, Polk said it’s a “concern” Walker will likely have to reach unrestricted free-agency before he could be re-signed, but that’s a function of the rules.
“We love Kemba Walker,” Polk said. “We would like nothing more than for Kemba to end his career here.”
