Knicks' Ron Baker out for the remainder of the season
He'll miss 4-6 months of action

The New York Knicks announced that point guard Ron Baker will undergo right shoulder surgery and will be out for the remainder of the season. Baker is expected to make a full recovery from the surgery in 4-6 months. The player was averaging 2.4 points and 1.6 assists per game this season.
Ron Baker is scheduled to undergo Arthroscopic Shoulder Stabilization surgery on his right shoulder this Wednesday, Feb. 7 and will be out for the remainder of the season. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Answorth Allen, with an expected recovery time of 4-6 months.
