Bulls trading Nikola Mirotic to the Pelicans
Chicago will receive a 2018 first-round pick
As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans and the Chicago Bulls are finalizing a trade that would send Nikola Mirotic and a 2018 second-rounder to New Orleans in exchange of Omer Asik, Jameer Nelson, Tony Allen and a 2018 first-round pick.
Bulls plan to waive both Tony Allen and Jameer Nelson once the trade is finalized. Pelicans will guarantee Nikola Mirotic's deal for the next season.
