Willy Hernangomez: "I am very ambitious. I want to play. I don't care where"
Hernangomez expects his situation to change before the February's deadline
Willy Hernangomez told EFE that he wants to play and thinks that something could change before the February’s trade deadline.
“I think and I hope so” the Spanish big man said about a change in his situation with the Knicks before the deadline. “I think there is going to be a change. I hope for better. I would like to continue here but I don’t close to the doors to anything. I just want to play. There are still weeks left before the market closes and I want to play” Hernangomez added. “I love NY, the fans, the teammates but I am 23. I am very ambitious, I’m hungry and I want to play. I don’t care where. I am ready for everything and I am working to change the situation and play now” Hernangomez added.
The center is averaging only 9.3 minutes per game this season scoring 4.4 points and 2.9 rebounds.
“This season I am spending more time in the gym than on the court. Physically I am better then ever”.
