Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic spoke with Marca about his season and the fight with Portis.

The forward did not come into details but he admitted that he doesn’t talk anymore with Portis.

I knew because I felt ready… Not being able to start the season and lose your spot over something like that was very hard. It took time for me to understand and be positive, but I have proved nothing can break me.” 

We’re both competitive. But it’s one thing to be competitive and another to do what he did. It was a normal relationship. We were pros. We practiced, did our jobs, went back home and that was it.”
