Kobe Bryant says he could see 'five, six moves ahead in the game' in 2012-13
Bryant said the final part of that season was one of his favorite times

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant said that the final part of the 2012-13 season was one of his best moments of his career individually.
"It's the season where I ruptured my Achilles, actually," Bryant told ESPN's Baxter Holmes. "Because I felt like I was playing the best basketball I've ever played in my entire career."
Late in that season, Bryant pushed himself like never before in order to help the team reach the playoffs. He averaged 45.5 minutes in six consecutive games before he ruptured his Achilles.
"I had to work like a maniac to be there, but I was able to be there," Bryant recalls. "Mentally, emotionally, I was able to see five, six moves ahead in the game, and all sorta crazy s---. That was one of my favorite times, yeah," he says, smiling. "It almost killed me, but it was fun."
