NBA All-Star Weekend 2018 to include game between Mexican NT and NBA G League All-Stars

UPDATE 10:48 PM - NBA G League President Malcolm Turner has confirmed in a press conference that the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend will include a game between the Mexican NT and a squad of NBA G League All-Stars.

The NBA plans to add a new event to the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend's program: there will be a game between the Mexican NT and a squad of NBA G League All-Stars on February 18th in Los Angeles.

The NBA G League's All-Star squad will be coached by Jeff Van Gundy and will represent the United States in February's FIBA World Cup qualifiers window.

I’m told Jeff Van Gundy will coach the squad of @nbagleague All-Stars on Feb. 18 against Mexico’s NT in Los Angeles. That team will then represent @usabasketball in its two late February @FIBAWC qualifiers
