The NBA announced that Philadelphia 76ers point forward Ben Simmons and Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma have been named Kia Rookies of the Month for October and November.
Simmons has been averaging 18.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game this season, emerging as the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award. The LSU product has already posted 10 double doubles and 2 triple doubles.
Kuzma is continuing to impress as he's leading the Lakers in scoring with 16.7 points per game, shooting 38% from three. Also, he has been averaging 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists and posted 5 double doubles and a career-high 30 points.
