Dion Waiters was intrigued by New York Knicks in free agency
He later signed a new deal with the Miami Heat

Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters told the New York Post that he had an interview with the New York Knicks when he was a free agent last summer.
“It was close to home and it’s New York, too,’’ Waiters said. “It wouldn’t have been bad. It’s New York, the Garden. I went to Syracuse, man. So it’s like cool.”
It seems that Waiters was intrigued by that option but it wasn't enough to leave the Miami Heat.
Waiters has been averaging 15.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game so far this season.
