Sixers, Robert Covington expected to agree on a contract extension soon
Covington will be eligible to sign an extension from November 15

Sixers forward Robert Covington will be eligible to sign a contract extension on Wednesday and, according to Marc Stein of New York Times, the two sides are closing in on a deal. Covington is averaging 16 points and 5.8 rebounds per game so far this season, shooting 50% from the three-point line.
The expectation is that Sixers will add around $15 mln to Covington's this year salary in order to lower the amount of the extension in the following years.
