Spurs head coach Greg Popovich said that Kawhi Leonard will miss the regular season opener against the Timberwolves scheduled for Wednesday.
Per ESPN, "He won't be available," Popovich said before Friday's preseason finale against the Houston Rockets, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Leonard has missed the entire preseason and training camp while rehabilitating tendinopathy in his left quadriceps.
According to Popovich, there is no timetable for Leonard's return.
