Tickets for the NBA London Game 2018 to go on sale October 20

The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that tickets for the NBA London Game 2018 featuring the Philadelphia 76ers vs. the Boston Celtics will go on general sale Friday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. BST at  The game, which will be played at The O2 on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, marks the eighth regular-season NBA game to be played in London in as many years. 


In advance of tickets going on general sale, NBA fans are invited to register their details at to gain early access to a limited number of tickets via a presale to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. BST.


The Philadelphia 76ers’ currently feature 2016-17 NBA All-Rookie First Team members Joel Embiid (Cameroon), and Dario Šarić (Croatia), as well as both the 2016 and 2017 No. 1 overall draft picks, Ben Simmons (Australia) and Markelle Fultz (U.S.), respectively. 


The Boston Celtics are led by four-time NBA All-Star and 2016 NBA Champion Kyrie Irving (U.S.), 2017 NBA All-Star Gordon Hayward (U.S.) and four-time NBA All-Star Al Horford (Dominican Republic), who last season led the team in rebounds.


The game will mark the Celtics’ second contest in the capital, having played a preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2007.  The 76ers will be playing their second game in the UK and first game in London, having previously played a preseason game in Manchester against the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2013.


The NBA London Game 2018 will be supported by world-class marketing partners, including Cisco, Gatorade, Marriott Rewards, Müller, Nike, SAP and Tissot.
