Sixers, Joel Embiid agreed to a five-year $148 mln contract extension
The Process is gonna stay in Philly

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Philadelphia 76ers and big man Joel Embiid have agreed on a five-year max contract extension, worth $148 mln. Embiid could make as much as $178 mln in five years, if he reaches the designated max criteria.
The deal will include some salary cap protection for the 76ers should Embiid sustain an injury that causes him to miss significant playing time, Wojnarowski adds.
