Martell Webster announced his retirement.
Webster, born in 1986 was with the Pelicans at the training camp and tried an NBA comeback after more than two seasons out.
Webster, the 6th overall pick of the 2005 NBA draft, has played 580 games in the NBA averaging 8.7 points and 3.1 rebounds.
