Bucks waive Spencer Hawes

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on forward/center Spencer Hawes.

Hawes, 29, appeared in 19 games for the Bucks last season and averaged 4.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists. He was acquired with Roy Hibbert from the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 2 for Miles Plumlee and cash considerations.
