New Orleans Pelicans rookie Frank Jackson will have a surgical procedure on his right foot on Friday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Charlotte Hornets selected Jackson with the 31st overall pick and traded him in exchange for the draft rights to Dwayne Bacon and cash considerations.
