NBPA “Players Voice Awards” Revealed

The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) announced the winners of 2017 Players Voice Awards exclusively via @theNBPA on Twitter today. The Players Voice Awards — solely voted on by NBA Players — recognized Russell Westbrook as the Most Valuable Player. Westbrook was also named Hardest to Guard and Best Dressed. In addition, players named Vince Carter Most Influential Veteran and gave LeBron James its Global Impact award, and named James the “Player You Secretly Wish was on Your Team.” In all, fourteen individual awards were given, along with a Teammate of the Year for all 30 teams. Voting took place at the end of the regular season and did not consider postseason performances.

The NBPA Players Voice Awards were introduced in 2015.
