Pelicans showing serious interest in Rajon Rondo

As reported by Zach Lowe and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the New Orleans Pelicans are showing serious interest in signing free agent point guard Rajon Rondo. The team will meet with Rondo today and they're expected to offer him a one-year deal.

The idea for New Orleans is to play Rondo next to Jrue Holiday, who recently signed a five-year contract extension.
