Gregg Popovich on shootarounds: 'Half of them are a total waste of time'

Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs don't like shootarounds. They have very few of them during the season and Pop thinks they're a waste of time:

"Half of them are total crap, a total waste of time. It just mentally wears you out, I think, more than anything. Players "appreciate" less shootarounds, Pop says, because it's, "a little bit of rest, one less appearance mentally."
